Entwined art exhibition

entwined

11 – 20 October 2019 at The Studio Brisbane
139 Latrobe Terrace, Paddington

The brutality of the Australian bush is also the creator of its unique beauty.

Melanie Kilby, Lisa Guy and Tracy Murray explore this concept and their connection to our natural environment through drawing, textiles and ceramics. Influenced by the colour, textures, patterns and forms found in our local landscape they present an exquisite body of work that aims to provoke a visceral connection to the South East Queensland landscape.

Various workshops will be running in the gallery space during the exhibition. Beginner’s clay (SOLD OUT), ceramic vessels, charcoal drawing, linen + leather bag, and slow stitched flora can all be booked via the links below.

ENTWINED. An artistic response to the Australian Landscape is a group exhibition featuring the work of Tracy Murray (Ceramicist, Shut Up and Relax Ceramics), Lisa Guy (Maker and Weaver, Made in Lisa Land) and Melanie Kilby (Fine Artist, Kismet Art and Design).
