Join me for an afternoon of drawing our beautiful native flora in charcoal.
Drawing from a still life arrangement or alternative loose items of Australian native flora and ceramics, you will sketch and shade using a few awesome techniques that you'll find not only easy, but also really enjoyable. You can draw realistically or in abstract shapes and patterns found in the objects.
This class is a zero pressure environment with a focus on getting lost in the process and not being concerned about the outcome.
In this workshop you will learn to work with willow charcoal. Willow charcoal is soft and capable of producing dark blacks as well as light grays. Because willow charcoal is very soft, it is easily erased and very easy to smudge which allows you to build layers and correct like a pro.
